This is a rare apache peridot in a large, round fancy cut. We designed an 18K setting with a halo colorless diamonds, diamonds on the band and rows of diamonds in a scallop design on the setting basket.
These rare peridots are mined by the apache Indians on their San Carlos Reservation and are AAA quality. Twenty years ago, high quality peridots were common. Today, larger peridots with perfect color and clarity are rare. The apache (San Carlos Mine) peridots are considered among the finest in the world. As designers, we know how to make jewelry look like it's plugged in by using the best diamonds possible, colorless and cut with the most facets; use the best gemstones possible, cut superbly and use a color of gold that complements the color of the gemstone. One-of-a-kind, quality designed by California Girl.
