Rare Demantoid & Malaya Dangle Earrings
 
We combined two rare garnet types - the (very) rare Demantoid with the Malaya garnets to make these beautiful and fun one-of-a-kind earrings.  The bottom gemstones are larger, beautiful green Demantoids, while the top, also Demantoids, are a little smaller.  In between the two are 3 round pink Malaya garnets, bezel set in 18K yellow gold.  These earrings are post with friction backs and dangle 1-1/8".
 
Demantoids are one of the 3 jewelry-worthy colored gemstones that have a higher dispersion than diamonds (much more rainbow sparkles).  The larger Demantoids on the bottom are the best quality - a rich kelly green and well cut in a round brilliant cut.
