Today imperial topaz is primarily mined in Brazil and Africa, and is light to medium peach in color. The Russian variety imperial topaz is the rarest and very best quality. This gemstone comes from a private collection. It has a very fiery Copper/Red/Gold color, it is VVS clear (virtually flawless); it is a perfect oval brilliant cut, is over 5 carats, and has the perfect saturation of color. We set it in our very beautiful 18K rose gold setting with colorless diamonds that has pierced openwork with a beautiful pattern of diamonds.
