This ring is an amazing marriage of a rare blue/green/purple unheated tanzanite with a setting of infinite sparkle and gorgeous design (if we do say so ourselves). We made this statement ring with the best quality diamonds: VVS-VS clarity, F color, blinding in sunlight. The very labor-intensive design of this setting has waves of diamonds in rose gold, each separated by open cutwork. We designed this setting to complement both the colors of this spectacular gemstone with rose gold and the separate waves of diamonds for that designer's touch.

Did you know that when Tanzanite comes out of the earth it is actually a greenish bluish purple? In order to get the familiar deep bluish/purple color, they have to expose the mineral to heat. The country of Tanzania, the only place on earth where it’s mined, controls the heating and cutting of this beautiful gemstone. Very rarely, they allow some material to be exported without heat, in its natural blue/green/purple color.
Zoisite (the scientific name for Tanzanite) is often called a “Single Generation Gemstone”. Most gemologists agree that this gemstone will be extinct in approximately 24 months. It is found in only one spot on earth, Tanzania Africa, and they are on their last mine. No other sources for this beautiful gemstone have been found, making it a solid investment.
