These earrings are sparkly and combine 2 fabulous gemstones: peridots and natural pink zircons. Because we're women who design and wear good jewelry, we love to combine 2 complementary colors. Fine quality Apache peridot is hard to get, and these two matched pears are beautiful. Tanzanian pink zircon is also rare; found in small pockets of material while miners are looking for tanzanite, deep in the mines.
Please don't confuse these natural zircon gemstones with cubic zirconia. Cubic Zirconia (CZ) is a synthetic gemstone. These are beautiful, natural gemstones with more sparkle than diamonds. Apache peridot come from the San Carlos Mine in Arizona, which is owned and mined by the Apache Nation, and are considered the finest peridot in the world.
It's all about the details... the peridots are in 18K yellow gold, while the pink zircons are in 18K rose gold.
