Write a Review

This is a gorgeous natural lemon lime green chrysoberyl. We designed a setting that properly showcases this important gemstone - with large vivid yellow diamonds on three sides of the band as well as diamonds on the setting basket.

This beautiful gemstone is a rare and sought-after gemstone for collectors and jewelry aficionados – a natural unheated lemon/lime Chrysoberyl, direct from the mines in Tanzania. Whether you wear this one-of-a-kind designer ring as an engagement ring or a right-hand ring, people with stop you in your tracks and ask about it. It's that unusual and beautiful.

A question we were asked - 'Does it in person look like the photographs?' Yes! Even better - we photograph in direct sunlight, but the sparkle is truly impossible to catch on camera.

What exactly is a Chrysoberyl?

There are 4 color varieties of Chrysoberyl - the lemon/lime variety (this one), a brownish variety, a cat's eye variety and the famous Alexandrite (the color changing variety). Because of its name, it is sometimes confused with the Beryl family of gemstones (Aquamarine, Emerald, Morganite, etc.); however, there is no relation. Chrysoberyls are hard, durable gemstones and when they are transparent, are one of the most sought-after gemstones for jewelry collectors. They are similar to Sapphires in hardness (8.5 on the Mohs' Scale), so suitable for engagement rings and/or everyday wear.
