Then they discovered that the Sleeping Beauty Mine in Arizona had even higher quality Turquoise with perfect color and little or no matrix (black veins). In September 2012, that mine shut down for Turquoise in favor of gold and copper and there will be no more of this precious gemstone. All we have is what was mined in the recent past, making this a fabulous investment.
