Rare Imperial Hessonite Garnet & Diamond Ring

Write a Review

This ring is for someone who appreciates beautiful, VERY rare gemstone jewelry in a one-of-a-kind designer setting.

Although Hessonite Garnet is not rare, Imperial Hessonite is. It’s also not commonly known. Typical Hessonite Garnet is orange to red to brown in color. The Imperial variety is a beautiful golden color with cinnamon undertones – just spectacular! Garnet is a hard and very durable gemstone and is the birthstone for January - and this one screams uniquely gorgeous.

We needed to showcase this beautifully cut large brilliant marquise golden garnet in a special setting. We designed a two-tone setting (18K yellow gold on the basket and 18K white gold on the band) with a .10 carat, .07 carat and .05 carat bezel set colorless diamond on each side. The basket has a row of sparkling pave diamonds holding the gemstone. The setting shows off this very rare gemstone to exclusive designer perfection.

If you're looking for an alternate engagement ring, or a wonderful right-hand everyday ring, this is perfect.
