Beautifully crafted from 18 karat yellow gold, this brilliant ring will stop people in their tracks. The ring features a very rare, stunning, cushion-cut, color-change garnet. The teal (blue/green) stone is prong-set in a glistening basket. Two rows of sparkling, white diamonds line the complementary band, completing the glittering look of this exquisite ring. This Bekily garnet changes three different colors: teal to purple to grass green, in different lighting. A garnet rarer than an alexandrite, and much more spectacular.

More about the famous Bekily Garnet:
This garnet was mined several years ago in the famous Bekily mines in Madagascar. This deposit is especially noteworthy, as it was the first commercially available "blue" garnet. It is a color change - a trichroic color change, meaning it has 3 distinct color changes (incredibly rare). In direct sunlight, it is a gorgeous teal blue, while indoors it is much more blue. When you shine your cellphone's light on it, it turns a neon kelly green. Under incandescent and candle light, this amazing gemstone turns a beautiful purple. To say this is a very rare garnet is an understatement. We have never seen one like it, and we are sure we won't see one again. Alas, the now depleted mines only produced this gorgeous gemstone for a short while. The alexandrite-like color change from blue-green in daylight to purple in incandescent light is mainly caused by relatively high amounts of vanadium in the garnet.
